The Suntech STA005-12 is a 5 watt, 12 volt solar panel, composed of 36 multicrystalline silicon solar cells connected in series to produce the 12 Volt output. For each 18 cell series strings, one bypass diode is installed.

Provides a constant trickle charge to RV, marine or caravan batteries ensuring they are in top condition when required. Also suitable for cathode protection and many other industrial applications.

Cells are laminated between high transmissivity, low-iron, 3mm tempered glass and a sheet of tedlar-polyeaster-tedlar (TPT) material by two sheets of ethylene Vinyl acetate (EVA). A heavy-duty anodized aluminium frame provides strength and convenient mounting access.
