UniSolar solar panels uses Triple Junction amorphous thin film silicon cell technology, resulting in a robust and durable but flexible and light-weight cell.

Bypass diodes are connected across each cell, allowing modules to continue to produce power when partially shaded. Compared to mono- and poly-crystalline modules, amorphous modules are virtually unbreakable and tolerant of both heat and shade.

Flexible UniSolar panels can be useful where portability and low profile are important. Designed to fit contours of up to 150mm radius, they can be placed in locations where rigid panels are unsuitable. Panels should not be rolled up beyond 150mm radius as damage to internal wiring can result.

Flexible UniSolar panels have brass tie-holes so they can be easily mounted to boats and vehicles using ropes. Suitable for four wheel drives, caravans, recreational vehicles and boats of all sizes.
